When all groups have completed their literature circle reading and discussion, provide each student with a copy of the handout, novel summary worksheet. special materials needed: When they meet, they discuss the parts of the book they have read and plan for the next session. But they're much more than chatter about the parts students liked (or didn't in handouts on each role, mcfarland has prompts to get the students thinking more deeply about the reading.
